Biography

I am an Architecture student at RMIT. In 2007, I travelled and worked in China, taught myself Mandarin, and I’m now studying it officially as well.

I’ve been involved with art and design from a very young age. One the most influential people in my life was my art teacher from primary school, Suzie May. She is now the author of several childrens books!

I’m also interested in computers and programming. I started with QuickBASIC at age 13, now I code in a variety of languages including C, Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP and Javascript. Personally, I admire Ruby for it’s elegance, not to mention a fantastic library of modules (Ruby Gems).

I love to know how things work, and Stephen Biesty’s cross-sections books are incredible. He is a master. Perhaps it is my exposure to the design side and the technical side of things which makes me want to have both in harmony.
