Plans for 2007
Sunday, February 12th, 2006Yes, it sounds completely nuts. Planning. I hate the word. But in this case, it’s something to look forward to. Yay!
Travel. I hope to travel with my best friend Thi, to his home country (Vietnam). Then comes the more difficult part. I need to make up my mind whether I should do a GAP placement also in Vietnam, or possibly some other country. Posibilities are China, and China. I want to visit China again sometime. It’s been too long.
If I can afford it, I might visit the South Island of NZ. My family over there would be pretty happy to see one of their rellies again…
Work experience. Architecture is something I’ve been interested in for a long time. Hopefully some nice obliging place can let me on, as a volunteer. I think being able to get a feel of how it’s “actually like” would be a great idea.
Relationships. This is imporant. I decided for this year, to suspend things. However, with the rest of my life ahead of me, I should now be able to continue to quest to find the “one”. Should be interesting. I’ll have a rant about relationships another day…
Other stuff. STUDIO! I hope to contribute to the development of my studio, where the garage currently is. I have big ideas. Hehehe… Should be great! (Once it’s finished, that is). Batchellorhood in style. Or maybe non batchellorhood. Either way is cool.
And they’re off…
Thursday, February 2nd, 2006Year 12! It’s started!
For one thing, the teachers are certainly much more concerned. I remember someone telling me that at MHS, year 10’s and 11’s get forgotten. Tis true.
Luckily (for me), I think i’ve managed to switch into year 12 mode. In short, i’ve transformed into a Nerd (oh gosh). Heheh… i figure it’s only 9 or so months, so sustaining this unnatural “state” shouldn’t be too hard.
As I keep telling myself, it’s for the best.
