Does it strike anyone as odd that the moment Israel, or indeed any middle eastern country steps out of line, the west is breathing down their necks faster than you can say oil?
Im just wondering when the good ‘ol US of A will “discover” intelligence of israel’s troops using iran as a hiding place, and begin carpet bombing to make sure they never again see the light of day…
Just wait and see….

I think Israel is given quite a large degree of lenience (compared to other middle-eastern states), given that it’s a “friend” of the USA, and a democractic nation…
Remember that international relations is an extremely fickle game, and national interest is primarily self serving. The US sells missiles and other handware to Israel, so it’s actually good for them that they use it up (morbid, I know) so they then buy more, leading to more $$$ for the US.

Us and Israel seem to have the same interest, to destroy the Hezbollah. Can’t they do thay any other way? rather than killing the innocent civillains? The recent attacks on the red cross buses, the UN observation post and Appartment building in Qana is shocking and inhumane. Seriously what were they thinking?
And by targeting and hurting more civilians would just fuel and increase the nation’s support for Hezbollah. =/
Plus the US is behaving real selfishly in this conflict, I thought they try to exert moral force? So I must ask, is this moral?
