(Only a few more months to go, apparantly)

Taking the plunge….

Friday, May 26th, 2006

…Into hermitism, since my midyear exam is approaching. Well, and the GAT too, and a Maths Methods SAC. So apart from that and Psychology, nothing much is happening school wise.

The real problem, I’ve discovered, is that prolonged study discipline and me are almost mutually exclusive. =/

And to make matters just a little more annoying. I’ve almost run out of money. There’s other dosh about, but that’s for traveling next year! Fiscal discipline at all costs! I guess can sacrifice some dignity, and beg/borrow (but not steal) from the folks. Oh well.

Wish me luck! (please).

Kudos to Vegetoacs

I shall dedicate this post to addressing this fantastically insightful comment:

“…Besides, i believe you are a person that takes inherent interest in random things….Perhaps the notion that you will be examined on something…or even the daily grind of school is what takes the lustre out of learning….” — Vegetoacs

This is very accurate. I am fascinated by things in general. No matter how oesteric (hehe… I love that word). Knowledge is a Good Thing To Have(tm). And I suppose, the “grind” of things often does make things often a little less exciting, but I generally enjoy class (when it’s interesting and ‘worthwhile’). That word “lustre” is truly apt. I find almost unlimited motivition for something I want to do (untill I get sidetracked at least). Kudos!
